The Crescent Farmers Market is open every Wednesday from 10am to 2pm.  It is located outside the City Mall entrance to the Crescent Shopping Centre in Dooradoyle, Limerick.

Dedicated to good food being shared in a friendly atmosphere, the market provides a complete range of stalls from the local area and a little bit beyond, giving you the chance to choose from the finest Irish foods and buy them direct from the producers themselves.

All of the food you buy at the market comes straight from the source.  This is important because it means that you know exactly what you're getting and where it came from.  You can find out exactly how your food is made; how it's grown, picked or pickled and you will get it at great value.  You won't find misleading labels, 'E'-Numbers, pesticides or huge food miles at The Crescent Farmers Market.  

What you will find is delicious food.  Fresh Fish, fresh vegetables, home-made jams and preserves, free-range meats of all types, home-made pies, fresh free-range eggs, hand-crafted chocolates, plants to grow and eat, plants to grow and admire, freshly baked cakes, cookies and tarts, hand-made cheeses, fruits fresh from the orchards.... The list goes on and on and keeps getting longer as more and more amazing food finds its way to the market.

But The Crescent farmers Market isn't just a great place to shop, It's also a great place to have lunch or grab a coffee and a bun. There are delicious crepes on offer, made by a man from Brittany, where they really know how to make crepes.  Or how about a mouth-watering pie made from delicious local meats and vegetables and heated up just for you? There are also delicious steak sandwiches with meat straight off the grill and there are more stalls coming.  
So whatever your reason, come down to the Crescent Farmers Market for good food and a good time.

Things to get excited about at the Market

• The Crescent farmers market will be opening a Community Stall, where you can bring your own produce to sell at the market.  Call Gareth at 086 806 9605 for details.
• Now's the time to be thinking about planting vegetables and plants for the summer.  Come down to the Market for expert advice and for seedlings and plants.
• The 5th of May is the Crescent Farmers' Market'she coffee  Grand opening.  Cookery Demonstrations, music, food and fun.... Watch this space for more details.
• We've got a new baker coming, so there will be gluten-free goods available again for those of you who have been asking.
• The Golden Bean coffee stall is going to start roasting their own coffee, so soon you'll be able to try to mimic their excellence at home.
